2013 BFA Senior Exhibition


This Friday the Cardinal Stritch University Northwestern Mutual Art Gallery will host the Senior BFA Exhibition. The media featured in this exhibit includes information design, photography, scanography, mural, and installation.



This show will feature Jennifer Balge, Katie Murphy, Darrel Payne, Sarah Peck, Nicholas Schilz, Rebecca St.Onge, and Melissa Webb.

Milwaukee Happenings: Spoilers Exhibit - Troy Freund




Cardinal Stritch Alumni, Troy Freund, has been an avid comicbook collector for many years. He is sharing his collection of original comicbook artwork to the public. His show, Spoilers, is opening on May 4th in Bay View. Artwork from the following artists will be featured: Darick Robertson, Steven Sanders, Phil Hester, Marcel Frusin, and Matt Chic.

Gina Dabrowski's large-format Type-C prints are an exceptional example of current "landscape photography" in an environmentally sensitive time and place. She was awarded the 2010 McKnight Artist Fellowship for Photographers to continue an examination of the big business of trash and the evolution of landfills from the open pit dumps of the 1970s.

Firebelly designers have been helping thousands of disadvantaged individuals by fundraising, home remodeling, and more.  Dawn Hancock will be sharing her story of how she started Firebelly Design and the philosophy behind the company's "Good Design for Good Reason" mantra, and talk about the future of Firebelly.

Students are welcome to register for an intimate sit-down with Dawn before her presentation to get the inside scoop on everything Firebelly. Only 15 spots are available for this meet and greet.
