.::. About the Gallery .::.

The work of contemporary and historical visual artists, as well as Stritch students is exhibited in our Northwestern Mutual Art Gallery, located in the Joan Steele Stein Center for Communication Studies/Fine Arts.

A Gallery Store, adjacent to the gallery, features an array of beautiful artworks and wearables made by Stritch art majors and faculty.  Store hours are the same as the gallery hours, as well as by appointment.

The Joan Steele Stein center is also home to ten large outdoor sculptures by local sculptors Bilhenry Walker, Steve Fischer, Bruce Niemi, Richard Taylor, Mark Overs, and Nathan Hatch, as well as Chicago sculptor Ruth Migdal. Stritch has the largest fully accesssble outdoor sculpture garden in the area featuring local artists.

The arts are integral to a Stritch education, and our diverse offerings aim to entertain and inform the community as a whole.

.::. Gallery Visiting Hours .::.

The Cardinal Stritch Northwestern Mutual Gallery is open on Sunday through Friday from noon until 4:00 PM.  During gallery openings and events, we extend our hours; see events below for more details.  Our gallery store retains the same hours the gallery is open.  As always, admission is free.
